‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) decision about moving may have a negative impact on their relationship.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Offer from Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd)
When Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) brought Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor-Winters (River & Raine Ware) back from visitation, he made an intriguing offer to Abby and Devon.
He said that Dominic isn’t reacting well to the transition back and forth between Devon’s penthouse apartment and the Chancellor mansion. When he gets to the mansion, he is fussy for a while.
Chance isn’t thrilled about the impact that moving back and forth is having on Dominic. He asks Devon and Abby if they would like to move into the Chancellor mansion. Chance will leave and go find an apartment for himself.
He doesn’t need that much space and the house feels really empty when he is by himself. He would prefer a smaller place. However, the mansion is part of the family and they are not going to part with it.
He asks if Abby, Devon and Dominic would like to move in. They would have a huge place that would be sufficient for their needs and Dominic would not have to move in and out. He could stay there all the time and Chance could arrange to have his time with Dom there.

Devon and Abby agree, but it is evident that this is difficult for Devon. He has a lot of sentimentality for his penthouse. It is the last place where he was with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) before he passed away.
He grew up there and really became an adult in that apartment. It will be hard to leave it behind. His consolation at the moment is that he has gotten Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to say she’ll move in, which would keep it in the family.
While he agrees and is going to move, this may be something that causes a rift between Devon and Abby. He may not find that he likes living at the Chancellor mansion. He may resent Abby for bringing this about.
If and when Chance’s family comes to town and stay at the mansion, it could be quite stressful for the couple. While things have gone okay for them after moving in together, they moved into Devon’s place.
