‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) saga may not really be over. Did he have something else up his sleeve that the Newmans will discover?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Well Planned Execution
During this entire Y&R Cameron Kirsten debacle, Cameron has been one step ahead of Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). He has been ahead of the police and even Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) pricey security team.
He sent sneaky clues at first to scare Sharon by only hinting at his presence. Then he evaded them, disguised himself and snuck on the ranch to poison the cat. He also managed to get Nick arrested by accusing Nick of assault (after hiring someone to beat up his face).
Cameron even managed to tunnel into the home through one of the bedroom closets. He set up shop in the sewer system and even had a bomb vest ready to attach to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) when he kidnapped her. The bomb vest even had remote detonation capability.
Every step of the way, he has been prepared for what they might do and how they would react, based on his knowledge of them. He always had a plan.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: What Happens Next?
When Nick and Sharon made it down to the sewer to rescue Faith, Cameron was ready. He grabbed Sharon from behind and held a knife on her. He told Nick about the bomb vest attached to Faith. He said Nick needed to choose who would die.
Thankfully, Nick had taped a knife to Sharon’s thigh, under her dress. She got it loose and sliced Cameron’s arm. When he let her go with shock and then reached out to grab her again, she stabbed him. He fell to the floor after professing his love for her again.
Y&R’s Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) of the GCPD was able to disarm the bombs and get the vest off of Faith. But is that really it? Is it over? With all of that intensive planning and scheming, did Cameron leave some more nasty surprises for the Newmans to discover?
While this situation was bad enough and is going to most certainly leave traumatic scars for Sharon and Faith, it doesn’t seem like Cameron to just be finished with them either.
