Season 2 of Love Is Blind was very exciting and the couples all had high expectations for their pending marriages. One of the couples who matched, Deepti Vempati and Shake Chatterjee hit it off in the pods. They slowly became very attracted to one another based on the deep connections that they had made in the pods.
However, when they met face-to-face, Shake’s entire attitude changed. He showed off his very shallow side and when they made it to the altar, Deepti made the choice to not marry him. As much as it broke her heart, she could see the kinds of person that he really was and she knew that he wasn’t the one for her.

Now that she is no longer on the show, she and former Love Is Blind cast member, Natalie Lee, have their own podcast. On the last episode, they opened up more about relationships and it turns out that Deepti is involved with a new man.

Natalie and Deepti host Out of the Pods and generally will catch their fans up on life and love. Natalie began the show by saying, “There is quite a bit of life news.
Deepti is in love.” The Deepti said, “I don’t know if I’m in love, but I’m very smitten. I’m smitten over a man.” Natalie then pointed out that when Deepti is texting with her boyfriend, she will giggle ot herself.
Deepti opened up more about this new man. She said, “I talk to him quite often. We do FaceTime dates too. He’s not from Chicago, so we’re trying out the whole long-distance kind of thing.”
Of course, the women did not share what the new man’s name is and even Natalie said that he was “an A-list actor.” The women just laughed and said that they can’t really say much right now other than the fact that Deepti is smitten.
Deepti added, “Yeah, I’m very smitten. I’m happy, which is so weird because just three weeks ago on the podcast, I was talking about how I don’t have time to date and I really don’t care to. I’m excited. I’m excited about a man for the first time in a while.”
Ever since Deepti appeared on the show, her fans just wanted her to find the love of her life. It hasn’t been easy for her, but now that she is dating someone new, things are really starting to look up for her.
