‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to keep things moving, and this episode is going to have a couple of moments that could make things interesting down the line.
Of course, there’s got to be a plot twist of two coming, and it looks like they’ll be curtesy of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as she’ll take a risk.
With plenty going on, let’s dig into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 25: Taking a chance
Phyllis has made many mistakes in her life, and she could be making another on the heels of a couple of doozies.
Since Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) decided it’s best to share that Phyllis is alive, it’s put her and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) on a sharp edge.
Summer was already struggling after the manipulation Phyllis threw on her by faking her death and then revealing it was a trick. But the worst part was Phyllis refusing to come forward until she figured out how to avoid jail time for killing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
That put Summer, and then Daniel, into impossible situations that only made things worse as Phyllis sought to save her own neck at the sake of her children’s sanity. It’s not what she intended, but it’s what she did.
So now it looks like she’s going to meet with Summer to find out what’s going on to fill in any holes in the narrative she has.
Just returning to Genoa City is dangerous since Phyllis doesn’t understand disguises, but she may be willing to turn herself in to save them the trouble and let the chips fall where they may.
Summer won’t like it, but it’s the only solution unless they can come up with another way for Phyllis to return without penalty and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) returns to prison.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 25: Devon’s growing
In a cool change of story, ‘Young and the Restless’ expect Devon Winters (Bryton James) to show how much he’s grown and not go after Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) for hurting Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Granted, the situations are totally different, but it’ll be good to see him rise above and not try to knock Nate’s head off again. It shows he’s in a better and more secure place and frame of mind.
It’ll also be a moment he’ll be heavily praised for, and that makes us wonder if there’s something more going to come down the road to really test his newfound happiness.
