‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is still struggling to get through her feelings of anxiety and insecurity, even though she has the love of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Chelsea has a lot to be thankful for right now. Things are going very well with Billy Abbott. She has just found out that the gaming platform concept that she was working on with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is heading into the prototype stage.
This is huge because this is a way she was going to reach out and help others.
The one situation that Chelsea is struggling with is with her son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). He has just found out that he is going to be a big brother to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) baby.
Since he got this news, he has struggled with talking with his mother. He has been sad and sullen. She keeps trying to be there for him when he is ready to talk, but it is tough.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sabotage
Although Chelsea has so much going for her, she struggles when things are going too good or if she is too happy. When that happens, it makes her start wondering if she deserves it. She has a difficult time maintaining her footing in times of happiness and believing in herself. The insecurity builds and she almost crumbles.
Bill is good at handling this sabotage. The most important thing he does is just listen. He lets her talk and share her feelings, without interrupting. This gives her a chance to be heard. Billy has learned a lot through his own journey and understands that Chelsea needs to express herself.
He doesn’t give her a lot of advice, but he just is consistently there for her, encouraging her through her self-sabotage. This is a great model for other people who might be in a similar situation with someone they love.
