‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready for some fun and games and things are going to heat up in Genoa City, and it’s going to be fun seeing who gets burned and who gets out of the kitchen.
To add some extra spice, some old rivalries to be rekindled as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will feel the need to mock Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to get a reaction out of him.
But there’s always more happening, including Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) being unable to keep himself from coming clean with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) being alive.
We’ve got plenty of popcorn handy, so let’s jump into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 16: He has to do it
Leave it to Victor to kick an old rival when he’s down.
Jack’s been dealing with a lot of stuff lately, and now that he sees a light at the end of the tunnel he’s going to have to deal with Victor’s need to antagonize him.
This will be a fun scene as Jack will hold onto his secret for as long as possible while also growing more and more furious.
‘Young and the Restless’ are looking forward to seeing if Jack can keep his cool and his secret, or will he prove as unable to swallow it as his son?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 16: Kyle cracks
Speaking of Kyle, we can’t blame him for cracking under the strain the knowing Phyllis faked her death, although we’d expect him to keep it more than the time it took Jack to walk out the door.
He doesn’t want to see him mom suffer and while that’s understandable, Michael Baldwin pointed out succinctly what will happen if Diane finds out, and Kyle may not be up to handling Diane if she’s planning a jailbreak.
But there is a chance cooler heads will prevail and Diane will do some healthy ranting. There’s also a very good chance she’ll trick Kyle into thinking she won’t do anything and then find a way out of her ankle monitor.
There are so many ways this can go sideways, and we’re all set for any number of them to happen and set off a wildfire response.
If Diane does make a break for it, we suspect the news will come out while Jack’s being tormented by Victor, and that’ll make the Moustache chuff more than ruining his children’s lives.
