‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) have one more point of connection. They are both concerned about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Connor is Chelsea’s son whom she shares with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). While Adam and Chelsea aren’t a couple anymore, they do share parenting duties, helping to care for Connor.
There is quite a bit of instability in his life, even though his parents are trying their best. It is difficult to navigate life at times when your parents aren’t together.
Connor also recently found out that his cousin, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind), is actually his biological brother. Connor and Johnny already got along well together and this doesn’t change anything for them personally, but it was a big piece of information to adjust to nonetheless.
The latest big piece of news has been even more challenging to handle, and Connor doesn’t seem to be accepting it well.

Adam decided it was time to let Connor know that he is going to become a father again. Chelsea agreed that was a good idea and thought that Connor would adjust easily to the news.
When they told him that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was pregnant, Connor responded positively about gaining a new cousin. Then Adam dropped the bombshell on him that actually, although Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally are a couple, Adam is the father. Connor is going to be a big brother to the baby girl.
This was heavy news for Connor. He hasn’t been responding very well since. He vacillates between being sullen and grumpy or quiet and withdrawn. Chelsea is trying to reach him but in doing so, she doesn’t want to push him further away.

Billy and Chelsea are bonding over this issue, trying to figure out the best way to help Connor. As Billy pointed out, Chelsea has the skills to listen and give him good advice. She knows that she just needs to be there when he is ready to share his feelings.
Billy also suggests that they do something fun together with Johnny. Johnny and Connor get along so well, and Johnny may be someone who Connor could vent to. Even though Billy isn’t Connor’s father, they get along well too. He wants to see Connor recover from this news, even if it is a lot for a young child.
