‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has finally been granted bail. Will she be content to follow the guidelines, or will she want more and end up in more trouble?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Facing Charges
Diane has been in jail since the ‘death’ of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). The evidence against her is substantial. Whoever framed her did a great job of putting the pieces in place.
She was denied bail because her fiancé Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has a lot of money. She also has been able to take off and travel plenty, so the judge said no way.
Diane was languishing in jail and was getting quite depressed. She didn’t want Jack to visit her anymore. She also did not want her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to visit. Diane felt that it kept giving her false hope.
Her emotions just kept going up and down and she didn’t know if she could continue to live with that.
Her lawyer, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), was able to get a new bail hearing with a different judge. She was finally granted bail and was able to return home to her family.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Stipulations
In order to be “home”, Diane has some rules to follow. She is under house arrest. Diane also has to wear ankle monitor bracelet. She also had to give up her passport, so she is not able to travel out of the country and disappear.
While she is happy now to be at home with her family, will she get agitated when she is stuck inside? She’ll be with her family, but will she be satisfied? Also, what will the impending reality of a trial do to her?
It’s all good and exciting to be home now, but that situation is not going to last, particularly if she is convicted.
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is now living at the Abbott mansion and will suggest a way out to Diane. Should she listen to him? Will he get her in more trouble than she is already in? What do you think? Share your thoughts below!
