‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is not too happy with himself for jumping into bed with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). But it happened—so what is next?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Power of Seduction
Nate is really attracted to Victoria’s power and position. She is also incredibly good looking and her cavalier attitude about relationships is also appealing to him.
Victoria knows what she wants and is willing to risk it all to get what she wants. She had no feeling of remorse or impropriety about going after Nate, even though he is in a relationship to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). Again, nothing and no one stands in Victoria’s way.
A few things happened at the office like some stolen kisses and a make-out session. Nate backed away, saying that he could not jeopardize his relationship with Elena or his position at Newman. He said that pursuing things with Victoria was not what he wants.
But, when Victoria asks him to go on an acquisition trip with her to Los Angeles, Nate agrees. He knows perfectly well what it will mean for both of them to be alone together, but he still agrees.
Nate doesn’t convince Victoria to take Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) instead. He doesn’t ask if Elena can join them. He agrees to go alone with Victoria.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Too Little Too Late
It doesn’t take long for them to shed their clothes and get some action (which includes some rather terribly sloppy kissing). After it’s over, Nate can’t explain why he gave into temptation.
Victoria tries to convince him that he is just trying to live up to Elena’s standards for him and it is making him unhappy. Victoria herself would apparently have no standards for him to meet.
When it’s said and done, they do talk about some boundaries they could follow. But folks, that’s just too little too late. Obviously when they first shared a kiss, that was the time to set up clear boundary lines.
They discuss great ideas (no meetings without a chaperone, no meetings with closed doors, no being alone together, etc.) but these are all things they should have agreed to right away.
Nate has already lied to Elena, and she is on her way to see what they are up to. They admitted to each other that they will both blush when they are remembering what they did together in bed. It’s not going to be easy to put this event behind them.
It’s obvious too that they don’t really want to do that. Victoria says she is going to shower alone. Rather than head to the bathroom to disrobe, she tells Nate not to look and drops her robe on the floor.
He can’t help but watch her as she heads to the shower. This isn’t over yet—they just keep asking each other for more.
