‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is starting to see that he really wants to have a future with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). What will he do to get what he wants?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: No Change
When Sally found out she was pregnant early into her relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), she knew that he might not be the father. She knew that it was possible that his brother Adam was the father.
She told Nick about this possibility, but he did not walk away. He said that he would stay with her, no matter what the outcome was. When she learns that it is Adam’s baby, Nick feels upset but puts that aside for her benefit.
Sally admits to Adam that her baby is his. She does let him know that it will not change their relationship. She still is in a relationship with Nick and that will not change either. They have to work out how to navigate this as a group of three.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Falling in Love
Adam is finding out that he is in love with Sally. As she journeys through this joyful expectancy of pregnancy, he is seeing that he wants to be a greater part of it. It won’t be fulfilling enough just to be the father from a distance, while his brother plays the greater role as Sally’s partner.
Adam has tried to conduct himself well, making himself amenable to what Sally wants. She wants to still be in a relationship with Nick, so he has not exerted himself. He has stayed back as much as he can. He did offer to buy her a house, but he mostly has stayed in the background.
This may be changing as he comes to grips with how he really feels about Sally. He is starting to fall in love with her as the mother of his baby and he is going to have to figure out how to proceed. How can this end well for him and Sally without destroying his brother Nick? Will that be possible? How do you think he will proceed?
