‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicate that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has put her life on the line to get revenge on Diane Stafford (Susan Walters).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Performance of a Lifetime
Phyllis lashes out at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane at the announcement of their engagement. She tells everyone that she is the only one who knows that Diane has not changed.
Everyone thinks she is drunk, but she isn’t. Yet she cries and goes on about how she has lost everything and how terrible Diane is. As she talks, she starts to struggle a bit with her balance and her eyes flutter shut.
Then she suddenly collapses. Everyone is shocked. They call for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) who are doctors. Phyllis doesn’t smell like alcohol. She is unconscious and barely has a pulse.
They call for an ambulance right away. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) are beside themselves and feel responsible. They follow the ambulance to the hospital.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Shocking Revelation and Accusation
After Phyllis and her children leave, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) crashes the party. He says that he and Phyllis were married three days ago. No one believes him. He also says he wants to know what Diane did to Phyllis.
He accuses her of doing something to harm Phyllis. Earlier in the evening, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Jack and Summer stumble into a suite where Diane is in the middle of trying to strangle Phyllis.
She says, “I should just do everyone a favor and get rid of you” as she chokes Phyllis. This was in response to provocation by Phyllis, but this was a great part of the plan. This will give support to the idea that Diane wants to get rid of Phyllis. Now some people will really question what she is capable of.
