Bam Margera has found himself in trouble once again as he was taken into custody for reportedly physically assaulting his girlfriend during a domestic dispute.
Bam Margera Was Allegedly Arrested For Domestic Violence
According to TMZ, Margera was apprehended by authorities after deputies were summoned to a home in Escondido, California at approximately 5 a.m., as reported by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The unidentified alleged victim reported to law enforcement that she was kicked by her “husband,” but sources informed TMZ that Margera’s estranged wife, Nicole Boyd, did not have any involvement in the incident. Bam was able to secure his release from custody by posting bail worth $50,000 the day after he was arrested.
This arrived on the back end of Nicole filing for divorce against Bam. According to David Glass, the lawyer representing the model, Boyd had had enough when she saw the reality star behaving inappropriately while appearing to be drunk in front of their 5-year-old child, Phoenix.
Despite declaring sobriety, Nicole decided to act which resulted in her request for legal and physical custody of Phoenix and spousal support. Boyd has granted supervised visits for Margera. After all, he has a history of repeated stints in rehabilitation centers since 2009.
With that being said, the response on social media was far from sympathetic. This was on the basis that people felt Bam had to clean up his act as soon as possible in order to avoid further harm to himself. And in the process, they urged him to get help as soon as possible.
One person wrote: “Damn this is going to be over soon. @BAM__MARGERA is not going to live much longer,” while another person stated: “Not gonna lie reading the headline I was expecting it so say ‘found dead.”
