According to friends of Aaron Carter, they are reasserting accusations that the narrative surrounding the singer’s death does not seem to make sense.

In November 2022, Carter was discovered dead at his residence in California. Compressed air cans and prescription pill bottles were present around him. Despite his young age of 34, the official cause of his death is still unknown, and a toxicology report is pending.

However, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office eliminated drowning as a possible cause since there was no water found in the lungs of the former child star. On March 1st, 2023, Carter’s mother expressed on Facebook that she is still striving to have an authentic investigation conducted into the death of her son.

According to her, the coroner dismissed the case as an unintentional overdose and failed to investigate it as a potential crime scene, citing Carter’s previous battles with addiction.

With that being said, Morgan Matthews and Bryan Cassidy expressed their belief that the death of the singer, Carter, should be investigated as a possible homicide, following the release of disturbing photos of the crime scene by his mother, Jane Schneck.

In his comments, Bryan said: “He would always be paranoid about people being after him or [that] somebody is after him. [How Aaron’s body was found] gave me suspicion too because I was like, ‘Wait a minute, was he paranoid or was he not?’ I don’t want to point fingers, but it just doesn’t add up.”

Matthew claimed that Carter frequently expressed his paranoia while they were working on music together. Matthews also stated that Carter associated with the wrong crowd of people. His following comments confirmed as much: “He said, ‘There are people after me, I need help, I need to get out of this town.”
