On Sunday, 26th February 2023, Camila Alves, who is married to Matthew McConaughey, shared an Instagram picture that showed the actor holding a pair of scissors.
His son, Livingston, is observed looking at his father with suspicion, while his other son, Levi, who is 14 years old, is keeping an eye on the activity.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Then this happened.” That brought about a mixed response for the following reasons. First of all, a certain subset of people began to troll the actor on the grounds that his hairdressing skills needed a lot of work.
This was primarily on the basis that his own hairstyle was questionable. Meanwhile, others were of the view that the actor had done a decent job, given that this is not his profession. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
One person wrote: “Stop it. Seriously, have a professional take care of it,” while another person stated: “We can add hairstylist to Matthew’s résumé. Liv’s expression is so funny.” This naturally begs the question: why did the actor decide to cut it himself?
After all, he is hardly short of money. Well, outside of an alternative explanation, it could simply be because that is something that the family always does. Outside of that, there is a chance that the children may not be keen on going to see a professional.
Regardless of what the case may be, it is fair to say that McConaughey’s acting is a whole lot better than his hair-cutting skills. And there is no getting away from that. So there you have it folks.
