Kanye West reportedly approached the police against the paparazzi who had pursued him and allegedly wanted to fight him.
Kanye West Reports Paparazzi To The Police After They Wanted To Fight Him
According to a representative from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office, Kanye was interacted with by press as he departed from Sunset Boulevard on Tuesday, 14th February 2023. During the course of that process, it is alleged that there was a verbal altercation with the paparazzi wanting to fight him.
Thereafter, it is claimed that Kanye and his team went to the authorities to report it. While there have been no arrests so far, an investigation is ongoing in order to determine whether or not someone can be held liable.
This is not the first time that Kanye has had issues with the press. In January, a video surfaced showing West approaching a female who was filming him from her vehicle and, seemingly, throwing her device onto the road. As such, Kanye was being looked into on the grounds of having committed battery.
Moreover, another photographer contended with West that they had the privilege to take pictures of him at his children’s basketball game due to the fact that they were on a public road.
That did not do down with West who let them in no uncertain terms that this was not acceptable. In his comments at the time, he remarked: “You want me to be running up on your kids’ games like that? There’s a hundred of us.”
The social media response was in favour of Kanye. This was on the basis that the behavior towards him had crossed the line since it could have gotten violent. One person wrote: “Arrest them. They antagonize to get a reaction and video/photos of it. Eff around and find out.”
