‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that fans appear to be fine with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) getting a lot more screen time recently. He had been reduced to a supporting role for many years, but it now appears that he is finally taking center stage.
This is certainly because he ended up in business instead of healthcare, as several major corporations are featured in the show. His plotline with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), in which he flirts with her at work while visiting Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) at night, is likely what finally drove him over the edge.

I believe Nate is being prepared for a long run on the program as one of the main characters. Even though Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is on his final legs, the future is what matters right now despite the fact that he has been around for a while.
There is no denying that many of the principal characters are aging, and soon it will be time to hand the torch to someone new. But who will be available to do so? Nate would be a terrific addition, but for now it seems like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is going to be one of the main protagonists. Nate’s career has changed as a result of being given more attention, but Sean Dominic, who plays the character, deserves recognition as well. Over the past year, he has demonstrated his abilities, and he is not intimidated by a task.
Victoria or Elena is his first significant decision. If Victoria is his choice, boy, are we in business! But if he does continue to date Elena, it will only lead to a longer plot in which Victoria either fires him or falls in love with him after the fact.
