‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that it was a huge announcement when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) left Genoa City for Italy and now that they are back in town, we are wondering if they should have just stayed where they were.
It wasn’t like they were heavily involved in any big storylines, and fans were growing tired of them, not to mention the actors were leaving the show altogether. Mealor and then Summer actress Hunter King left the show and we were unsure if we were going to see the characters again.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Should Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) And Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) Leave Genoa City Again?
Since they came back to Genoa City, all that has happened is Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) came back and Kyle is having a minor reconnection with his mother who abandoned him all those years ago. Nothing to do in the way of Harrison or his relationship with Summer Newman, other than her getting annoyed about his mother.
To be honest, I don’t think many people would miss Kyle and Summer if they left town and went back to Italy. There are plenty of other things going on and really, they’re just very bratty and think that the world revolves around them. Of course, now Kyle is being sucked into a partnership with the all-powerful Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and trying to get his own son fired from Jabot.
I’m just going to put it out there… Kyle and Summer should go back, and live their lives. For all we know, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is right around the corner waiting to come in and mess up their relationship and attempt to take Harrison back.
