‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the reunion of Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) was eagerly anticipated by viewers. They were a beloved pair during the prime of the CBS soap opera, but they split up after Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) lied about Danny’s paternity. Over the years, Phyllis had harassed Christine and even run her over with her car, and as she and Danny were speaking, it was clear that “Cricket” despises “Red.”
Bell’s character only occasionally appears, but fans are always happy to see her. Christine and Danny caught up on their lives this week, and their chemistry was still palpable. When she questioned if he was seeing someone, he responded that it wasn’t anything serious but that they still had feelings for one another. Christine’s marriage to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) is an obvious issue that they would need to deal with however.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams) Returning To The Show Full-Time?
When Christine is working on legal matters, such as supporting Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) when he moved back to Genoa City and now assisting Mariah Copeland (Cameron Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Kate Fairbank) with adopting a child, she makes an appearance. Damian will appear in several episodes, but no release date has been announced, and it’s unclear whether he and Christine will continue to be close.
Bell recently spoke to Soaps.com about getting back together with Damian, but she made no mention of returning full-time to Y&R, and she made no mention of Davidson at all, making it seem as though he did not exist. I think we should keep an eye out for details on Lauralee Bell’s stay in Genoa City this time, as well as whether or not Doug Davidson intends to return for the 50th-anniversary celebration.
