Trisha Paytas‘ went on the Zach Sang show recently and came clean about the whole Shane Dawson drama. To briefly recap, Trisha had stuck with Shane through a lot of drama that he had gone through, including going as far as to defend him during his 2020 cancellation. But it seems that the loyalty only went one way because when push came to shove, Shane chose Jeffree Star over Trisha, who had been his friend for 12 years.
Why did he choose Jeffree? Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that collabing on a makeup pallette together finally put Shane’s bank account in the black. Or maybe Shane was just playing her the whole time after all, because Trisha says she has voice texts to prove that Shane was talking bad about her behind her back.

What started the drama? There was a kerfuffle with HairbyJay, Jeffree Star’s hair stylist, on a Vegas trip, where Jeffree made fun of Trisha and bodyshamed her and ended up regifting something that was supposed to have been hers to Rich Lux. Trisha was understandably upset, she thought she was among friends on this trip but ended up stepping into a pit of vipers instead.
Instead of Shane doing the thing that most good, long-time friends would do, and defending Trisha, he didn’t do anything. He didn’t lift a finger in her direction, knowing full well she would have done that for him. Obviously there is three sides to every story l, her side, his side, and the truth, but that is what we know.
Shane hasn’t even reached out to Trish to congratulate her on the birth of her child, Malibu Barbie Hacmon. Then again, at the time of the drama she was really retaliatory in her response and basically called Shane a sociopath and even went as far as to call his boyfriend, Ryland Adams, the devil.
However, when asked about the drama Trisha said that she is really easy to forgive people and that she has moved on from it all and doesn’t really hold anything against them, but some old school fans were kind of sad in the comments that neither has contacted the other to patch things up. Friends are supposed to be forever but it looks like only some people got that memo. Stay tuned!!!
