British Royal News suggests that there might be a new feud going on behind closed palace doors but this time around it has nothing to do with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Instead, reports say that Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles might be in a new royal rift as the Princess of Wales does not appreciate being bossed around by her husband’s stepmother. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Radar Online, things have gotten a little ugly between Camilla and Kate. Now that Camilla is the new queen in town, she’s apparently throwing her weight around in a way that she’s never done before. One source close to the situation even put it this way, “They even went as far as saying that the pair had a heated argument at Buckingham Palace in which Kate laid out exactly what she felt about Camilla to her face.”

The tipster added, “Ever since the Queen died, Camilla has been throwing her weight around showing everyone who’s boss. Kate is becoming increasingly irritated with her. She thinks Camilla doesn’t take her royal duties seriously and that she doesn’t deserve the role. Things have been very awkward.”
A separate source say that the Princess of Wales doesn’t believe that she should be treating Camilla any differently now just because she’s the new Queen Consort. That, and she certainly doesn’t want to adhere to Camilla’s new rules.
“Kate has gone above and beyond the call of duty to adhere to all of the values required of working royals, but Camilla ultimately latched onto Charles’ coattails,” one source alleged.
The source went on to say that during the last Christmas outing together, Camilla and Kate did look pretty tense together. In other words, they are certainly keeping their distance. Hey, at least they are not blaming Meghan Markle on this one, right? So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
