A Joe Biden-affiliated nuclear official, Sam Brinton, who identifies as non-binary, was severely criticised after they were let go due to being accused of swiping suitcases on two different occasions.

Security cameras reportedly detected Brinton taking another individual’s bag at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. Another allegation came to light two months later, accusing him of taking a woman’s baggage from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.
On Thursday, 8th December 2022, a felony warrant was issued for the apprehension of Brinton for the crime of grand larceny. According to Fox News, some of the stolen items were estimated to cost between $1,200 and $5,000. A Department of Energy spokesperson declared that Brinton had ceased to be an employee of the organization.
With that being said, Brinton was trolled on a huge scale in light of their tendency to pilfer luggage. Senator Tom Cotton said: “Re. Sam Brinton, let’s call it what it is: a person clearly unfit for a high-level national security role was hired because the Admin prioritises wokeness over competence.”
While author Dinesh D’Souza remarked: “#SamBrinton the first non-binary official to be fired by the US government for theft? Since we’re keeping track of these amazing historical ‘firsts,’ I thought I would inquire about this one.”
It is not exactly clear where Brinton can go from here. A career in politics looks most likely over since it would be very difficult to come back from this. In addition, there is also the fact that future presidents are unlikely to want to associate with Brinton due to the negative publicity that could emerge.
And after having been in an esteemed position, that being in the energy department, it is only down from here. We will have to see how Brinton responds to this moving forward in the future.
