Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal good intentions just messed things up for Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo). Plus, we’re seeing more tension between her and Sofia Dantes (Isabella Sierra). Let’s talk about what happened last time, as well as what’s next.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Good intentions

First, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita) wasn’t counting on this. It seems one of the women Teresa and the team rescued decided to do a video about their rescue. Which, of course, showed Teresa speaking to the women. This video quickly went viral, as well as some others that led to some questions for Epifanio he didn’t want to answer.

And of course, now carrying on with the mission is going to be harder. Especially since those videos have led to embarrassment for the US as well as reward money offered for Teresa’s location. But they’ll have a way to deal with that we’ll get to in a minute.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Complications

Meanwhile, La Reina del Sur spoilers indicate Sofia and Teresa have been through a lot over the past couple of seasons. And while the bond between them is still obvious, we’re seeing more tension in their relationship as well. We think it’s great they’re going there, as it would be hard for things not to be tense for them now and then.

The past came back to haunt Teresa during one disagreement in particular. Sofia, unhappy with Teresa making any comments about Mateo Mena (Anderley Palomino), called out Teresa’s current involvement with Pablo Landero (Pêpê Rapazote). We loved that happened, as Teresa needed to be reminded she barely knows Pablo. And last time she got involved, the man turned out to be Sofia’s kidnapper.

Another nice moment related to this was later on, when Sofia had the chance to talk to Fedor Yosikov (Víctor Rebull). We loved how they bonded a bit over their parents’ questionable dealings. And we think it’s cool that Teresa and Oleg Yosikov’s (Antonio Gil) kids look to be forming a friendship.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: What’s next

As for tonight, the situation for Teresa got far more complicated, thanks to those videos. Under increasing pressure, she and the rest of the team will divide into two groups. One will go to Argentina, while one will stay in Peru. Teresa will take on a persona of an heiress to keep under cover as she continues her job.

Elsewhere, we have Oleg, Sofia, Faustino Sánchez Godoy (Lincoln Palomeque), and Anton (Dimitry Anisimov). They’ll be passing as tourists to keep under the radar.
