‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is about to get rather up close and personal with the beautiful but also mysterious Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). And knowing just how Billy operates whenever he is in the company of a beautiful young woman, there’s a very good chance that the ‘old’ Billy might reappear and revert to his old, cheating way. According to Soap Opera Digest, Billy Abbott will find himself in an out-of-the-way dive bar to be by himself but finds unexpected company when he sees Amanda there. And needless to say, that’s when one thing will lead to another.

Jason Thompson, who plays Billy on the hit CBS soap, tells the publication, “He is having a little bit of an identity crisis. Leaving Jabot and spending time at home with no real purpose leaves him feeling somewhat cornered in his own life and he is trying to figure out who he is.” Amanda Sinclair is at the dive bar drinking alone. After Billy gets over some of the shock that Amanda looks exactly like Hilary (where has he been this entire time?), the two of them do a little bonding and he realizes that Amanda is more than just another beautiful face.
Jason adds, “He is very comfortable with her. He doesn’t feel like he is on the spot like he does when he is in a therapy session. He is having a couple of drinks and talking to this beautiful woman. He’s really enjoying himself.” But when the lights go out, that’s when Billy and Amanda realize that they need to stay where they are and wait out the storm. The actor further explains, “Billy doesn’t want to be judged right now. He is trying to find out who he is and he feels like he found a kindred spirit in Amanda. He is becoming very comfortable around her.”
