In more disturbing news that is not okay, cult leader Teal Swan has now come out on her YouTube channel in support of pedophilia. She actually comes out and says in one of her YouTube videos that children are “sexual beings” and even says in the video that “This is for the sake of understanding, but the label of “pedophile” is not meant to shame, discredit or objectify anyone who feels sexual attraction for children in any way.
Pedophiles are not monsters.“ You could have fooled us.

She continues with, “There are some pedophiles who justify their sexual exploits with children as ok. While it is impossible to pick a definitive age after which children are capable of knowledgeable consent, most pedophiles do not understand sexual development in children and so they do not understand how damaging it actually is.”
The way she hand-waves pedophilia is truly, truly disturbing, trying to pass it off as another form of sexual orientation when it clearly is not, because a minor cannot legally consent to any kind of sexual contact – ever! Sexual orientation implies that there are two adults of legal, consenting age in a legal, consenting relationship of some kind.
Pedophilia is a legit mental illness diagnosis that is not brought on by trauma, it is one of the most dangerous mental illnesses out there and there is no rehabilitation for it, to hear Teal Swan wave it off like a sexual orientation is quite frankly disgusting.
She goes on to say that just because children are sexual beings does not mean they want to have sex with adults. What on earth is she implying, that the children want to essentially be with other kids? Because that is a one-way ticket to childhood trauma.
You hear things like this and you’re reminded of those tales from the Satanic Panic era in the early to mid 80’s where you would hear lurid tales about what happened to children raised in cults and you start to wonder was that where Teal Swan got her inspiration from? Because most normal people looked at that and took a hard right into Nopeville, but not her.
She even goes onto state that the sexual abuse is not the worst thing that can happen to a child, “That being said, it is not the sexual touch itself that is the most harmful thing to a child who is sexually abused. It is the other elements that accompany the sexual touch that are the most harmful, things like blame, shame, feeling powerless, secrecy”
