From Welcome to Plathville, Olivia and Ethan Plath have made a lot of changes in their lives since we first were introduced to them in the first season. They have done their best to keep their distance from Ethan’s parents, Kim and Barry Plath, but with his parent’s divorce filed, there have been some rumors about Ethan’s life with them. Many of the rumors that fans have started to hear mention that Ethan and Olivia may want to start over and move. Where would they go? Some say Minnesota.
Welcome to Plathville: Why Minnesota?
The state of Minnesota has been mentioned a few times on Welcome to Plathville and it is because the Plath’s grandparents live there. Ethan’s sister, Lydia Plath lives there as well, so the family has close ties there. There is another reason that fans think they have moved there as well.
Welcome to Plathville: Are Olivia Plath and Ethan Plath Moving to Minnesota?
In a recent post on her Instagram account, Olivia shared some pictures from Florida and then captioned them, “Adios, Florida. You were a wonderful, tropical year. On to the next adventure.” Then she shared an emoji of a snowman and a moving truck.
She continued to share photos of them moving and in one, they were going north on I-65 in northern Indiana. She captioned it, “For the past few days, we’ve been making out way north; stopping to see some friends and places along the way. It’s been a fun road trip. Excited to try the Midwest life!” Of course, this made fans think that they were moving to Chicago, but when Lydia shared an update, fans thought they would end up in Minnesota
The moving rumors have been going on for quite some time and Olivia brought moving up in a previous post. Fans thought that she and Ethan were splitting up for good and that they would be moving to two different places. It looks as if they are still together and trying to repair their marriage by moving to a new home. Will this help to repair what’s left of their marriage or will it make things worse?
Only time will tell where they end up, but we will continue to keep an eye on Olivia and Ethan to see where they call home. It could be Minnesota so they will be close to Lydia, but it could be anywhere in the Midwest. Be sure to follow their moving adventures on their Instagram accounts.
