In addition to walking the red carpet together as a couple for the first time, the “Sex and the City” star confirmed the news to his fans. In the picture posted by Brian, we can see the duo have a massive smile on their faces, as they pose to the camera during an event.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “The most amazing, brilliant, beautiful, hilarious, thought provoking & insightful person I know who continuously lives life out-loud. The future is crazy-bright Girl!”
This has been a massive turn around to say the least, especially when we look at Brian’s love life last year. He had been married to his ex Desiree DaCosta for over two decades before they decided to part ways. During the course of that process, they did welcome three children together.
Not only that, but Brian had also credited Desiree in his success on ‘Sex and the City.’ With that being said, Brian could have been forgiven for taking more time out in order to work on what he wanted from his life going forward. It is not surprising, then, that he is taking everything in his stride.
His following comments confirmed as much: “None of us ever know where God will guide our paths. She’s had my back since before I even became an actor.
“When a 41 year friendship slaps you in the back of the head & blossoms into romance, you stand up, pay attention & step forward in gratitude.” The fans on social media were delighted for the pair. And in the process of doing so, they praised Josie’s intentions given that she had waited for so long.
One person wrote: “Friend, so she had his back before fame, during his marriage for 27 years and after his divorce. Congratulations.” It is great to see the pair in a really good place, and long may that continue.
