Jason David Frank, who was 49 years old, has died. His personal trainer and close friend Mike Bronzoulis first broke the news, and TMZ later confirmed it with the help of fellow Rangers actors Walter Jones and Blake Foster. Frank, who was born on September 4, 1973, gained notoriety for playing Tommy Oliver in the enduring Power Rangers series.
]He played the Green (and later White) Ranger in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, which marked his acting debut. Although he was only supposed to appear in 14 episodes, he ended up continuing to play Tommy in subsequent seasons of the Power Rangers, including Power Rangers Zeo, Turbo (Red), and Dino Thunder (Black), in addition to cameos in anniversary specials. Additionally, he provided advice on the 2018 graphic novel Soul of the Dragon by Kyle Higgins and Giuseppe Cafaro.

It later developed into a full-length movie with a cast that includes former Power Rangers Jason Faunt (Time Force), Ciara Hanna (Megaforce), Mark Dacascos, and Jenna, the daughter of Frank.
