Netflix Set To Release Narcos: Mexico Season 2 - Here’s Everything We Know So Far

The second season of Narcos: Mexico is set to hit your screens, and here is everything we know about it.

Narcos spoilers, as described by Walt Breslin at the end of the first season the DEA are going to war with the Cartel, although they don’t know it yet.

Felix Gallardo and others are now very powerful and they now have influence over Mexico’s political landscape. Felix is surrounded by fierce protection, especially with the army he bought. Since the DEA was unable to prosecute Felix legally, he sends undercover agents to take the fight to the cartel.

The Cartel will be taken down through lethal means. The DEA will likely win the war. They want to take Felix and the Cartel down and reduce the circulation of drugs at all cost. Whether they topple the names on their hit list by killing them or taking out the people under. Winning the war is sadly not going to be easy.

It is going to be a bloody war. Felix will be fighting the DEA and will also have to watch his back after he has betrayed a lot of his “friends” to find his way to the top. We are expecting action packed scene in season 2 of Narcos: Mexico.

Which Faces Will We See In Narcos: Mexico Season 2

We’re not certain if actress Alyssa Diaz will be returning to season 2 to continue her role as Mika Camarena, Kiki’s wife.

We are alsonot sure if we will see Wagner Moura, who played the role of Pablo Escobar as it has not been confirmed. Moura featured in a cameo appearance in the first season but never graced our screens again after that.

Michael Peña might come back in Season 2 to continue his role as Kiki Camarena for flashbacks. His character may not return because the major plot point surrounded his death, causing the war on drugs.

Mexican actor Jero Medina, will be joining season 2 of Narcos: Mexico. Jero is new to the acting world but has featured in a few movies.

Narcos: Mexico Season 2 – The Release Date

There is currently no official confirmation on the release date of the second season of Narcos: Mexico Season 2. We were expecting the new season to hit Netflix in late 2019 but that has changed and we are not expecting it until 2020.
