Aaron Carter Had An ‘Obsession’ With His Brother Nick Carter
Aaron’s death has left a huge void in the Carter family as Nick has spoken out since the death over how much it has impacted the family. While that may have been the case, reports suggest that the two brothers patched things up prior to his death.
After all, at one point, Nick gained a restraining order against his brother in 2019 on the basis he disclosed that he had thoughts about killing his wife and child. But by the looks of it, Aaron simply wanted Nick’s validation as an older brother.
Gary Madatyan, who happens to be a friend of Aaron, had this to say: “I wish [Nick] could have done a little more as a blood relative to Aaron. I’m not judging him. I’m not saying anything bad because I respect him. He’s a talented artist. I love him, but Aaron had an obsession with his brother.”
In hindsight, it is possible to argue that anyone in Nick’s position may have guilt over whether they could do more. This is particularly since the circumstances surrounding the death were tragic. Aaron went way before his time at the age of 34, while he left behind his son, Prince, who was just around a year old.
And that is why Gary felt more could have been done to prevent this tragedy from happening. His following comments confirmed as much: “Mentally ill people think differently. He was … pushing, poking to get that attention.
“Aaron did things he should have never done to his brother, but we’re talking about mental health. He was crying out for help.” The best thing is to make sure that the Carter family and Nick’s friends unite to take some positives out of a very traumatic incident.
