Fashion Designer Lauren Conrad Regrets Calling Kristin Cavallari A Slut-‘I Couldn’t Believe I Did That’
The comments were made in 2004 while she was on the show ‘Laguna Beach.’ And as part of that process, Lauren admitted that this was a major regret she had made. And now that Lauren has had time to rewatch the show, she wanted to let Kristin know that she wanted to take back her comments.
In an interview on the ‘Back to the Beach‘ podcast, Lauren said: “I couldn’t believe I did that. Because I think where I’m at now, like, I would never call another woman that. It was, for me, like, the most embarrassing moment. I was like, ‘Oh, gross.”
Much in the same way, Kristin had some regrets about the manner she had behaved on the reality series. This was on the basis that Kristin felt she took out her insecurities on Lauren. And in the process, she made it clear that there was no ‘beef’ between them.
This is in spite of the fact that the duo were involved in a love triangle with Stephen Colletti at the time. But now Kristin has reached a point where she wants to let things go. Her following comments confirmed as much: “When I watch it now, I’m like, I wasn’t confident at all.
“I was actually so insecure. And I took it out on you in a lot of ways.” The fans on social media praised Kristin and Lauren for managing to patch things up. And in the process of doing so, they sent some very warm words indeed.
One person wrote: “After watching laguna beach, this is such a beautiful moment, real growth.” It is great to see how far the two women have come, and hopefully moving forward, things continue to remain that way. We will have to see how this will play out moving forward.
