Aaron Carter tragically passed away and his friend and family have started to pay tribute to him now that he is no longer with us. He had some battles with drugs and alcohol and he even had some very complex relationships with his family members.
His brother, Nick Carter, shared his feelings with fans and felt that addiction and mental health issues were something that he just couldn’t get away from. Now his twin sister, Angel Carter is opening up to her fans about her brother.
Angel was quick to get on Instagram to share her thoughts on her brother’s death. She shared some pictures of them together and even these two had quite a terrible relationship after years of him abusing drugs.

She wrote, “To my twin… I loved you beyond measure. You will be missed dearly. My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you and me, and I promise to cherish them. I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.
In 2019, Angel and Nick both filed restraining orders against Aaron after he threatened to kill them and Nick’s wife and unborn child. He also threatened to kill Angel’s husband and their daughter.
She told her fans that he told her over the phone, “I have people that would come and harm you.” Then he denied this on Twitter and wrote, “I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.”
Along with his family members, Hillary Duff, who dated Aaron, shared her thoughts on his death on social media. She shared pictures of them together and then captioned them, “For Aaron- I’m deeply sorry that life was so hard for you and that you had to struggle in front of the whole world. You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent… boy did my teenage self love you deeply. Sending love to your family at this time. Rest easy.”
They dated when they were only 13 years old and for about three years until he began dating Lindsay Lohan.
The events on the day of his death are being investigated and we will continue to keep an eye on this case. Our hearts are with Aaron’s family and friends at this time and we wish them time to heal.
