Katy Perry has revealed the reason why her eye appeared to glitch during her Las Vegas performance.
Katy Perry Reveals The Reason For Her Eye Glitch During Performance
The singer certainly raised a few eyebrows, as her eyes appeared to have a life of their own. In the video here, we can see that Perry is rocking the crowd with her music. Then suddenly, the camera shows that her eyes were opening and closing at a rapid rate. Katy looked as though she struggled to control them going so far as to use her fingers to open one.
That led to some people claiming that this was a ‘robot,’ while others went as far to suggest that she may have had an adverse reaction to the covid-19 vaccine with people making comparisons with her face to that of Justin Bieber following his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.
And in order to get to the bottom of this, Katy let everybody know unequivocally that nothing serious had happened to her. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a clip of the performance.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Welcoming all my #flatearthers #spaceisfakers #birdsarentrealers #skyisntbluers to come see my broken doll eye party trick IRL in Vegas next year!.
“Heck I pour beer out of my tits (that’s a party trick too… I don’t actually lactate hops silly goose!)” Nevertheless, those comments did nothing to address one key point. Katy failed to disclose the exact reason as to why this had happened.
Either there was something wrong with her eye which would suggest a medical issue, or it was a prop that was used to play along with the crowd. But the failure to answer either way in the affirmative has only left more questions for the people.
And this was reflected in the comments on social media. One person wrote: “Robot glitch or Lizzard.” The sooner that Katy puts this to bed, then the better it is for everyone involved.
