Lili Reinhart, best known for being on Riverdale, does not believe she will be invited to attend the Met Gala again after criticising Kim Kardashian.

Lili, for her part, was very vocal about Kim’s routine which made sure that she got ready to fit into a Marilyn Monroe dress. And as part of that process, Kim suggested that she had starved herself in order to lose 16 pounds.
That naturally did not sit very well with Lili, who felt that the Kardashian was sending out the wrong message when it came to beauty standards. Not only that, but Kim’s comments appeared to show her in a very shallow manner.
In her comments at the time, Lili remarked: “All to fit in a f–king dress…Openly admit to starving yourself, [as] millions of young men and women are looking up to you.”
Those comments were not a surprise when we look at Lili’s own issues with her body which have been well documented. She was allegedly diagnosed with depression when she was just 14-years-old.
And things were also not helped by the fact she suffers from anxiety and body dysmorphia. The latter is a condition that results in people worrying a lot about their appearance to the point where they become extremely unhealthy.
Despite those issues being known about, Lili felt that it was unlikely that people would see her making a return to the gala. In an interview with W. Magazine, she said: “After going again this year, I don’t think I’ll be invited back. I said a certain something about a certain person in a certain dress.”
Even if Lili does not end up scoring another invite, she had the courage to speak her truth. And after everything that she has been through, that should be commended. We will have to see how this will all play out moving forward.
