The 59-year-old reportedly passed away after he failed to return after going to the bathroom at a friend’s house. The friend had allegedly called out to him but this was met with no response. Thereafter, he discovered that Coolio was not responding which is why the ambulance services were called.
However, it was all too late as Coolio was announced dead at the scene. And yet, some days after, he looked in a very good place. In the video here, we can see that Coolio is greeting a fan by the name of Mika Janday. They have massive smiles on their faces and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “When I seen him at the airport I ran up like COOLIOOOOOO can I get a pic! I was mad excited!!!!! I am so hurt! He was so humble and cool!!!
“He even invited us to his show in Texas and we exchanged numbers so I could text him our names for the VIP list! He was such a COOL dude!!!!” Naturally, then, there have been question marks over the cause of death.
There had been speculation that Coolio suffered from a cardiac arrest. However, this has not been officially confirmed as the authorities will have to investigate and come to a conclusion.
And given that the fan had seen Coolio in such a good place just shortly before his death, it is not surprising that the fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter.
A significant proportion of fans were in shock since Coolio had left with so much still to give in the music industry. One person wrote: “Just saw your video…So sad seriously.
“A legend no matter what! Thanks for this video it might be the last one his fans can actually see him in his glory. God Bless you!! Cherish that Moment forever! Many blessings!! RIP Coolio.”
