Fans have reacted to the death of rap star Coolio, who died at 59-years-old.
Fans React To Coolio’s Death-‘Another Rapper Gone Too Early’
According to reports, the star’s manager confirmed that Coolio had been at a friend’s house. During the course of that process, he made his way to the bathroom. Things took a turn for the worse, as Coolio allegedly did not return after an extensive period of time.
His friend apparently called for him but did not receive a response. So when the friend went inside the bathroom, that is when he apparently found him on the floor. The ambulance services were called, but it was too late.
He ended up dying on the scene, with suggestions that he may have suffered from a cardiac arrest. The official cause of death has still yet to be confirmed. Coolio leaves behind a massive legacy, with significant amounts of success in the music industry.
He rose to fame following the release of the critically-acclaimed single, ‘Gangsta’s Paradise.’ That ended up in the movie ‘Dangerous Minds,’ while he also managed to obtain a Grammy award in 1996 for the ‘Best Rap Solo Performance.’
Coolio leaves behind his six children and his ex-wife Josefa Salina, who have been left to mourn the passing of one of the most influential rap artists out there. It is not surprising, then, that the fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter.
A significant proportion of the fan base were shocked since they were looking forward to seeing him perform. Meanwhile, others lamented the loss of an all-time great. One person wrote: “Another rapper gone too early. RIP Coolio,” while another person stated: “nooo nooooooo noooooooooooo.”
Coolio may longer be here, but he has left many memories that will last a lifetime. And the fans will have the opportunity to remember him through the music that he left behind. And that is at least something positive that people can look towards. So there you have it folks.
