Britney Spears has slammed her family and her former management team over the way they treated her during her conservatorship.
Britney Spears Claims Jennifer Lopez Would Never Have Been Treated Like Her
The 13-year conservatorship was clouded by accusations that Britney had been abused. And as part of that process, she expanded on how others would not have been treated the same as her if they were in her position. And in the process of doing so, she referenced none other than Jennifer Lopez.
Much like Britney, Jennifer is known for being a household name with a massive fan base. But when it came to her treatment, Britney suggested that she was targeted. In her comments, she said: “I’d like to see somebody tell Jennifer Lopez to sit down eight hours a day seven days a week … no car.
“I’d like to see a management team tell Jennifer Lopez to go through what I went through … what the f*** do you think she would do … her family would NEVER allow that.”
This has now taught the singer, albeit in hindsight, that she is capable of standing her own ground. While that may have been the case, there has been an extensive amount of damage done to Britney.
Her relationship with her family has been harmed, as shown by her two children that have made it clear that they do not want to see her until she is better. And the anguish from her family is something she cannot let go.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “After 14 years of telling me no to what I wanted … it’s ruined for me … but that wasn’t the worst part … the worst part was my family locking me up in that place for four months.”
There is nothing that can be done to take away what had happened, which is why only Britney can control how she manages herself going forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
