Hearing what the other side has to say has become incredibly difficult for many people. For some reason, they are unable to talk to people with differing opinions and some even get incredibly angry and personally offended. However, one TikTok user decided to see for himself and went to a Donald Trump rally as a liberal to “try to make 100 friends”.
Samuel Donner shared his experience and many were surprised to hear his story and how he was able to talk to a lot of people there who were incredibly nice and spoke very highly of one particular woman named Holly who invited Samuel and his friend to their bible study.
Samuel joined Fox News to speak about his experience, something that probably would not be aired on CNN or other like-minded programs.

Viewers reacted to the interview saying, “I encourage him to now go to a liberal rally as a conservative and see how that turns out.”, “The people who didn’t want to talk to him… the assumption is probably that when a Democrat comes at you with a camera, they are only there to malign you, lie about you or make you look bad somehow.”, “Hats off to this young man we need more like this.”, and “Lovely to see a liberal treating other people like they are human beings, showing respect for others, beautiful. There is hope.”
This really is something that should just be basic human nature, but in our day in age, people can’t even talk to other people. It’s amazing that this is so highly celebrated, but it needs to be an example for many.
