The 41-year-old actor may have dazzled the public with his performances as Captain America, but when it comes to his personal life, he has been far less successful. His previous history with his love life has not gone down very well. He has been connected to Jessica Biel, Minka Kelly and Jenny Slate.
And it was particularly Jenny that Chris had gotten very close to. They had first come across each other on the set of the 2017 film ‘Gifted.’ Thereafter, the couple did break up only to then get back together before parting ways completely.
And the absence of having somebody in his life is clearly playing on his mind. When asked about what he was focused on in his life, this is what Chris had to say: “I’m gonna give you a good answer.
“The answer would be that maybe, [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with.” Nevertheless, that was not the only thing keeping Chris preoccupied.
The actor did not hide the fact that he loves what he does for a living, even if the acting industry can be challenging at times. So once he manages to find a balance in his life, then Chris will have the opportunity to invest his energy into something other than acting.
And that is what he is hoping to do going forward. His following comments confirmed as much: “I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it.
“But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into.”
