Victoria Beckham Bashed Over Tone-Deaf TikTok Post-‘If This Isn’t A SLAP In The Face To Millions Right Now’
The star who is married to David Beckham is hardly short of money, and that came across in her social media posts, which got on the wrong side of people. In her TikTok, we can see that Victoria is sitting down as she gets ready to have some food. The food has already been prepared and has been placed on the table.
Her Butler then comes out of nowhere in order to remove the top of the dish. This results in the fans seeing a piece of salmon with some salad. Victoria was then alleged to have said the following: “Tell me you’re posh, without telling me you’re posh. I’ll go first.”
This post did not go down very well with the fans for the following reasons. First of all, a certain number of haters began to see this as a sign of Victoria showing off her wealthy lifestyle in a rather distasteful manner.
Secondly, others argues that the state of the current economic climate made things even come across as much worse, especially since a large number of people cannot afford to live that kind of lifestyle.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. One person wrote: “Tell me you’re out of touch, without telling me you’re out of touch,” while another person stated: “If this isn’t a SLAP in the face to millions right now.”
And yet, in Victoria’s defence, it is important to remember that her nickname was ‘Posh’ during her time in the Spice Girls. Therefore, her post could easily be viewed as an innocent wordplay on her time in the band rather than an attempt to show off her lifestyle.
