CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to shift some gears in Genoa City, and it looks like we’re going to see more focus on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and the possible havoc she could wreak.
Of course, nothing is ever that simple as even planning stages take a while to build with so many possibilities. Even choosing the safest one as this show often does can make things interesting.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Summer gets an earful
It looks like Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to keep pushing for everyone to make Diane’s life miserable, and one of the unfortunates she’s going to corner is Summer Newman (Allison Lindell).
We expect Nikki to press upon her the importance of Summer turning on Diane and forcing her out of Genoa City.
This is something Summer has heard before and we doubt she’d going to bend a knee this time, especially with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and the other Abbotts giving Diane a chance.
It won’t surprise us if Nikki pulls the family card to force Summer into action, and if she does that could blow up in her face big time.
It wouldn’t be the first time a Newman pushed the younger generation too hard and broke a relationship. But the fact it’s someone besides Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is shocking.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis has a new idea
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) isn’t one to give up, and she’s going to continue working on ways to oust Diane herself, and it looks like she’s going to come up with a viable plan.
Phyllis can get really creative when she needs to, and it looks like this will be one of those times as ‘Young and the Restless’ think she’s going to play into their truce together.
We mentioned this before, but Phyllis lost her cool and shot that idea down pretty fast. So, we’re hoping we’re lucky on our second attempt at predicting this.
It’d make sense for her to play nice and lull Diane into a false sense of security that would allow her to drop her guard.
Of course, this is predicated on Phyllis being able to control her natural aggressive impulses, and we’re not sure she can for more than a few minutes at a time.
