Chris Rock has more or less confirmed that Lake Bell is his new lover, as they were spotted grabbing lunch together.
Chris Rock Grabs Lunch With Lake Bell As Romance Heats Up-‘They Are Having Fun Together’
This is the second sighting in a matter of days after they were seen grabbing some food at a restaurant in Santa Monica. Now that incident has been followed up by this latest sighting, as the pair sat openly over lunch. In the picture here, we can see that they are having a nice chat as Lake tucks into her food.
While there was no visible PDA, this is not surprising since it appears to be their modus operandi of not showing any public affection. A former source confirmed the following: “According to an eyewitness, Rock and Bell were holding hands as they walked out of the upscale Italian restaurant.
“But immediately let go of each other when they saw the photographers.” With that being said, It is understandable that Chris has not made a public announcement.
First of all, this may demonstrate that he is looking to take his time and not rush things with Lake. After all, he knows what it is like to see a relationship end after having previously been married to Malaak Compton for two decades.
Secondly, there has been a lot of hype surrounding Chris this year by virtue of the fact that he was involved in the slapgate incident with Will Smith at the Oscars. And perhaps he wants to stay away from the limelight after having been involved so much recently because of that.
The fans on social media, regardless, were delighted to see Chris looking happy. People felt he deserved this after what he had been through recently. One person wrote: “They are both really funny! I hope they are having fun together.”
