According to reports, the incident had occurred when Caylee was all alone in her house in the bedroom. And during the course of that process, it is alleged that the burglar had made his way into the house after ruffling through some items in another room.
That is when things got out of hand, as she opened her eyes to see the man. A source told TMZ the following: “Caylee was all alone early Tuesday morning in the bedroom of their L.A. home … when she opened her eyes and saw a man in her bedroom.
“Caylee let out a scream … and that was enough to scare the guy right out of the house.” It is not exactly clear if anything had been stolen, but the very fact of the matter is that the incident has drawn to a close for the following reasons.
First of all, Caylee was able to ring the police as soon as possible who managed to catch the defendant who was running down the street. And as she managed to provide a description to the authorities, that case has now closed.
Secondly, there is nothing to suggest that she had suffered any injuries aside from the emotional trauma of what she had been through. With that being said, who knows what could have happened on any other given day had things gone wrong.
The response on social media was one of relief. After all, the number of celebrities being targeted by burglaries is only increasing. One person wrote: “Crime is going up in our major cities. Thanks again Joe Biden/Harris.”
