Mazel, right? Britney Spears tied the knot with Sam Asghari as planned on Thursday evening. The intimate ceremony took place at her home in Thousand Oaks. And of course, a lot of her fans sure have a lot to say about the wedding. Here’s what you need to know.
From Madonna wearing alien-like glasses and supposedly clout chasing, to Sam looking like he was doing a brand promotion the entire time, a lot of people believe that this perhaps wasn’t Britney’s classiest of weddings. She was married for 55 hours to Jason Alexander, who just happened to be there to crash her wedding, and also to Kevin Federline. But this wedding seemed to raise the most eyebrows.
Critics Are Throwing A Major Side Eye Towards Britney Spears And Sam Asghari’s Wedding
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both fans and critics to weigh in on Britney and Sam’s wedding. Many took to social media to write, “Sam looks absolutely pleased with himself. I get nothing from their pictures together. Just him smizing and smoldering for the camera.
Congrats on securing the bag, I guess,” along with, “Every outfit is tacky as hell with special shout outs going to the wedding dress choker and the negative pant situation in that black ensemble. Every thing about this wedding sets off my alarm bells, but that wedding dress choker is offensive.
Another critic commented with, “It’s very sad. A poor, southern family found a money maker in their child and rather than care for her or get her any kind of education, they pushed her to sing/dance/act/do gymnastics. She is now mentally stunted, uneducated, and (apparently untreated) bi-polar. So she’s acting out like a 15 year old who was grounded for years by being a complete fool – and has no family or real friends to step in. But hey, FREEDOM right?”
If that weren’t enough, Sam’s manager also had something to say about the wedding. And yes, Sam does have a manager. “I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way,” Asghari’s manager, Brandon Cohen, told People after the ceremony. “I am so grateful to have Sam in my life and can’t wait for the future they will build together.”
