Looks like we’re in for some character building as new problems crop up and potential romances start to take root, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to dive into the fun and games.
We’re curious about what a couple of these moments are going to be about, and they could prove interesting as things unfold.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 31: Mutual frustration
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) have been getting along pretty well lately, but it looks like things could get a little rough.
We don’t think it’ll be a knock down, drag out fight or anything like that, but something more along the lines of a disagreement over the way their new company is going.
Devon’s been hesitant since early on as he’s afraid of letting his father’s memory down and giving up any control.
It also bothered him what the group brainstormed about the part he’s running while he wasn’t there, and we think that argument will move front and center again.
We expect Nate will try to smooth things over and explain they weren’t trying to take away more control from Devon or anything, but something tells us Devon won’t be listening too much.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 31: Chance’s promise
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has been dealing with more than a few things lately, and the latest was a little apprehension as Devon and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) bonded a little more.
We think Chance will finally stand up and promise himself that he’s not going to let himself get sucked into his self-induced drama.
While this would be a big step forward for him, ‘Young and the Restless’ aren’t sure there’s not going to be something else to this moment.
In that event, we won’t be surprised if Chance has a moment with his son and promises him to be there for him every step of the way. This could lead to the above promise to himself we mentioned.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 31: The power of reminiscing
We’re going to move one step closer to seeing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) become a couple, and it’s going to involve nothing more than being there for a friend.
Nick will continue to show why he’s a great guy in most categories as he and Sharon will sit and talk about their past with what went wrong, but a lot more emphasis on their happier times.
It’ll be a fun scene as we’ll get to enjoy the seeds of romance being watered.
