The Aquaman movie featured Amber Heard as Mera in 2018. With the defamation trial between her and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, it looks as if her time in the second film was cut to about ten minutes. Now it looks as if agents are now claiming that she had no chemistry with Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa.

Heard’s agent recently told the press that the reason that her role was cut down was due to the fact that she doesn’t have chemistry with Momoa. The trial began when Depp felt the need to sue Heard for defamation. She wrote an op-ed in 2018 in the Washington Post all about escaping an abusive marriage. She never called him out, but everyone knew about their marriage and Depp claims that he has lost a lot of opportunities because of her.

Amber was cast in the 2017’s Justice League movie are Mera and then in the Aquaman movie. She is supposed to make $2 million for the sequel, but with only about ten minutes in the film, that could be up in the air. Not only did her agent say there was no chemistry, but she also pointed out that Heard’s career hasn’t really taken off the way that Momoa’s did.
Heard’s agent told the press, “In my experience… Your career takes a turn after something like that. She was very well received in the movie at the time, everyone was happy with her at the time, and there were no issues. Then to have a complete down turn after that, and then have that coincide with constant tweets and negativity put out about her, I don’t have a physical piece of paper of evidence, but it’s the only logical conclusion I draw.”
Her agent also pointed out that since the trial, Heard has also lost a part in a new Amazon film. It does look as if this trial has really put a damper on a lot of things for Depp and Heard.
There are people all over the world watching this trial and it looks as if everyone has a side that they are on. Only time will tell who will end up winning this case and coming out on top. No matter what though, it does look as if there will be some debts to pay and it no one is sure if these two will get more work after all of this is said and done.
