Nothing like the end of a wedding to put CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers in the mood to party, and when there’s some excitement coming only adds to the fun.
We’re set for just about anything to happen when Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) decides it’s time to introduce herself, but until then we’ll get to celebrate day three of the ceremony.
Let’s close out the celebration in style.

It was cool to see Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) express their love as the show came up with a perfect moment for us to enjoy.
We think it was a nice touch to add in a couple of nods to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) for what he meant to all of them, and it helped enhance everything.
Now, we’re going to enjoy some fun party time as everyone will get to relax and enjoy the show. Well, almost everyone.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is going to have his hands full in dealing with his mom, and Diane’s not going to go away quietly.
But there could be a reason for that.

While it’s easy to expect Diane to do something to cause a scene, ‘Young and the Restless’ expect her to become the center of attention thanks to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

It won’t be purposeful, but at seeing Kyle and her talking, Phyllis may decide she needs to intervene so her daughter isn’t drawn into it somehow.
While Phyllis will try to keep it on the downlow, we suspect Diane will put Kyle on the spot and it’ll cause a minor stir that’ll result in a pause to the celebration as she’s asked to leave.
Of course, there’s always the chance that Diane leaves on her own without a scene and Kyle will be upset at her being there and that’ll ruin the mood.
There are several ways this could go and we’re looking forward to seeing which one the writers will choose.
We hope they’ll play to Diane’s dark side a little, or at least hype up everyone else’s paranoia to add some spice to this storyline.
Thus far, this is lacking any bite aside from hearing a million times how evil Diane is and what could happen. Maybe that’s her game, or she could have an accident or be murdered to spark a murder mystery.
At this point, we’re begging for anything interesting to happen with her.
