Public opinion is clearly against Amber Heard after a petition demanding that she be removed from ‘ Aquaman 2’ has now gained over 4 million signatures.

The actress is currently set to play the character of Queen Mera, but her ongoing legal trial against Johnny Depp has now raised serious question marks over her future. According to the following petition on Change.org, the reported target of 4.5 million signatures is now firmly within reach.
As of now, the petition is just a few hundred thousand signatures away from the target. And as part of that process, one of the petition founders Jeanne Larson did not hold back on her condemnation for the actress.
The petition reads: “Amber Heard has been exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp…Since Heard’s divorce from Johnny Depp, she has systematically crusaded to ruin Depp in Hollywood.”
With that being said, fans want the producers to take immediate action to remove her. And if other reports are anything to go by, then it could happen. Grace Randolph, who just so happens to be a film journalist, had recently claimed that Amber’s role in the upcoming film could be reduced to as little as 10 minutes.
While it is not clear if that is because of the negative perception that has emerged about her, in response to the trial, the very fact of the matter is that this has only gone on to support those looking to cancel her.
With that being said, the petition demanded the removal of Amber as soon as possible. It added: “Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment should and must remove Heard from their Aquaman 2 film project.
“They must not ignore the suffering of Heard’s victims, and must not glamorize a domestic abuser.” Time will tell if Amber can survive the backlash, but given everything that we have seen so far, things are not looking good for the actress. So there you have it folks.
