Damon Thomas, who is best known for being Kim Kardashian’s first husband, has responded to the reality TV star’s prior claims that she was on ecstasy when they got married.

The pair, for their part, tied the knot in 2000. During that time, Kim was 19-years-old compared to Damon who was 29. But after having gotten married in Las Vegas, things were not so smooth sailing thereafter. They broke up four years later and in the divorce papers, Kim had apparently accused Damon of being abusive.
But the fact that Kim claimed to be on ecstasy during their vows in an episode of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians,’ is something that really riled up Damon. After all, the implication was that perhaps Kim did not know what she was doing when she got married.
In an interview with Vlad TV, Damon said: “I think it’s unfair to make those kind[s] of blanket statements because we have kids now, you know? I have children. My kid goes to the same school her kid goes to. So imagine him when he has to deal with that at school.”
One of the reasons why Damon feels this way is because of the obvious elephant in the room. If Kim was really not aware of what she did when she married Damon, then why did the reality star stay together with him for four years.
Not only that, but the reason why the duo had decided to elope was because of Damon’s view that Kim was not talking with her mother Kris Jenner. And this is the necessary context that needs to be considered when listening to Kim’s remarks.
He added: “I can go into that and blow up the spot, but I wouldn’t. And I’ve been very responsible in not talking about what that marriage was or what it meant to me.”
