Rapper Chopper, otherwise known as Kevin Barnes, has reportedly been arrested on the grounds of sex trafficking.
Rapper Chopper Arrested For Sex Trafficking-Turns Out He Was A Pimp Looking To Add To His Stable
The star, who was best known for being on the hit MTV show ‘Making The Band’ has been accused of being a pimp. Reports indicate that an undercover police officer had pretended to be a sex worker, which then resulted in Chopper apparently telling the officer that he would include them in his ‘stable.’
Subsequently, he was arrested by the authorities and looks to be on his way to being extradited to Los Angeles. A source told TMZ the following: “The undercover cop says they searched Chopper’s IG account and noticed several posts related to prostitution and pimping…and made references to being a pimp.”
But rather than this simply being a case of productive police work, Chopper did not help himself prior to the police getting involved. It is claimed that he had been bragging to the undercover police officer via telephone over his pimp activities. And as a result, he made every effort in order to pull the officer into his stable.
Not only that, but Chopper had allegedly told the officer that the police were trying to crack down on such behaviour. And with so much evidence clearly against him, the punishment could be very severe indeed.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. A significant proportion of people wanted him to be held accountable by receiving the highest possible punishment. Meanwhile, others were of the view that Chopper had nobody to blame but himself.
One person wrote: “Throw his ass under the jail!!! how dumb are you to even insinuate that you’re a sex trafficker on instagram smh.” The only thing left to do is let the authorities conduct a full and thorough investigation.
