Show me the justice. Cuba Gooding Jr. has learned how important it is to keep his hands to himself as he has plead guilty to forcibly touching a woman at a nightclub. Gooding admitted to kissing the woman, a waitress at the club, on her lips without consent.
He also admitted to two other incidents of non-consensual contact in October 2018 and June 2019. Here’s what you need to know.

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Gooding is to continue alcohol and behavior modification treatment for six months and have no new arrests. After that time, he can re-plead to harassment, according to reports.
The single guilty plea came nearly three years after the Oscar-winner’s arrest in the case that saw several delays as his lawyers sought to get the charges reduced or dismissed.
As many fans can recall, the 54-year-old was arrested in June 2019 after a 29-year-old woman told police he squeezed her breast without her consent at Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge near Times Square. A few months later, he was charged in two additional cases as more women came forward to accuse him of abuse.
Gooding had previously pleaded not guilty to six misdemeanor counts and denied all allegations of wrongdoing. His lawyers have argued that overzealous prosecutors, caught up in the #MeToo movement, are trying to turn “commonplace gestures” or misunderstandings into crimes.
If that weren’t enough, Gooding is accused in a lawsuit of raping a woman in New York City in 2013. After a judge issued a default judgment in July because Gooding hadn’t responded to the lawsuit, the actor retained a lawyer and is fighting the allegations. So far the actor himself has not made any comments about the matter.
